How to pick up email using Cpanel

To set pick up email please go to your web site/cpanel as shown below, using your web site's URL +/cpanel .

When a pop up menu comes up fill in your web site's user name and password. (This information was supplied to you when your hosting account was set up.) Click OK.

The screen below will appear. Click on Mail.

The screen below will appear. Click on Manage/Add/Remove Accounts

The screen below will appear. Click on Webmail for the account you wish to pick up email from.

The screen below will appear. Fill in Password. Click on Login.

Click on Horde.

Click on Login.

Click on mail

Your Emails will display. You can read, delete, forward and send Emails from the Horde Email application.

To Send an email from Horde

While in Horde mouse over Mail. A dropdown menu will display. Select New Message.

The Menu below displays. Fill in:

To:

Subject Line

Message body

Red Check mark )

Your email is sent from your email address.

If you wish to allow people to access their email using Cpanel & don't want to provide them with Cpanel access, you may provide them with the web address for the Horde email access. (see red arrow) The will need to use their complete Email address and their password to sign in and have access. The will not have access to any other Email accounts or other Cpanel functions.

To make Cpanel email access easier, after getting on your Cpanel email account save it as a favorite and save "remember password". When returning to access your email you will only have to click on the favorite to have access.
